Engineering tools / Connected site planning

Plan your site once

Bring addressing, PoE power, UPS energy and camera storage into one editable, explainable design. Change the number of cameras once and all four results update. Everything runs locally in your browser.

Planning demo, not a live survey. All starting values are editable examples—not a connected device inventory, manufacturer specification, guaranteed UPS runtime or deployment configuration.

Load a complete example or keep your imported/custom plan.

Continue with your calculated inputs, not another unrelated example. This optional transfer uses only this browser tab (no URL parameters or network requests). A temporary 30-minute site draft restores your entries when you return; the specialist values are independent edits and do not automatically update the site.

Important limits

This preview uses the existing IPv4, IEEE PoE, battery energy and camera bitrate calculation engines with the same input model. It assumes one ordinary LAN; it does not generate VLAN gateway configuration, audit actual installed ports, identify switch model limitations, simulate battery discharge curves or verify camera/NVR compatibility.

For multi-network projects, use the VLSM planner. For products beyond the illustrated 802.3af cameras/phones and 802.3at access points, use the per-device PoE planner. Changes to these examples do not configure equipment. Specialist handoff is temporary and one-way; site revision history, vendor-backed BOM and pdfcn technical reports require separate reviewed implementation.
